Lucy Kyei – Boadu (Mrs) – Operations officer
Lucy is an accomplished underwriter especially in Fire and Liability risks. She worked with Ghana Union Assurance Company Limited ( GUA) for 37 years and rose through the ranks to Senior Underwriting Manager. She retired in May, 2018 as the Head of the Fire Underwriting Department.
Lucy’s experience covers underwriting, Claims settlement and reinsurance arrangement in Fire, Liability, Motor and Marine Insurance business.
She successfully completed one-year full time course of West African Insurance Institute (WAII) in Liberia in 1984 and obtained a Diploma Certificate.
Lucy’s insurance management while at GUA covered Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), COCOBOD, Tema Oil Refinery, Unilever, Guinness Ghana Limited, National Health Insurance Authority, Tarkwa Goldfields, Standard Chartered Bank Limited, HFC now Republic Bank Ghana Limited, Sonitra etc.
Having worked through all the departments, Lucy is well versed in identifying and assessing the insurable risks attendant to operating any business.
